Built from real Philippine bookkeeping problems
KuyaPH began with a simple goal: make business bookkeeping easier to understand, manage, and prepare for reporting.
Created by Gino Sand, KuyaPH was shaped by real accounting stress: construction expenses, rental income, cash handling, Excel files, SEC requirements, BIR calculations, and the everyday challenge of knowing where the money went.
It started with construction accounting
KuyaPH started when my partner was managing the accounting for her building construction company in the Philippines. The business itself was already demanding: projects, materials, workers, suppliers, payments, deadlines, and constant follow-up.
Then came the bookkeeping.
Receipts had to be collected. Payments had to be checked. Expenses had to be categorized. Cash had to be tracked between people. Reports had to be prepared in Excel.
I saw how quickly ordinary spreadsheets could become stressful. A formula could break. A payment could need explaining. A report could have to be rebuilt. What looked like "just paperwork" could quietly consume evenings, weekends, and peace of mind.
So I began building software around the way the work actually happened: money coming in, expenses going out, cash moving between people, and records that later needed to become useful reports.
That became the first version of KuyaPH.
Then the same problem became personal
Later, I faced the same challenge in my own records.
I needed to prepare data for SEC Philippines, including General Information Sheet records and Annual Financial Statement drafts. I also needed bookkeeping that could explain what happened to the money, not just rows in Excel that appeared organized.
For Airbnb and property-related expenses, the questions were often simple but difficult to answer:
- Who has the cash right now?
- Was the money used for housekeeping, repairs, utilities, association dues, supplies, or another operating cost?
- Did it pass through maintenance, a condominium admin, or another person before it was spent?
These are not abstract accounting questions. They are the daily details that determine whether a business owner feels in control or confused.
KuyaPH was built to make those answers easier to find.
What KuyaPH is built for
KuyaPH is not designed to be a large ERP system. It is a practical bookkeeping companion for Philippine entrepreneurs, landlords, construction operators, condominium-related businesses, and small companies that need clearer records and better cash visibility.
It helps business owners organize daily transactions before they become reporting problems.
KuyaPH helps you:
- Track cash, bank, e-wallet, petty cash, income, and expenses.
- Organize bookkeeping records for construction, rentals, condominiums, and small enterprises.
- Prepare working drafts for SEC GIS data, Annual Financial Statements, and BIR tax calculations.
- Keep the human workflow visible: who handled the money, what it was for, and how it should be reported.
The purpose is simple: clearer records, fewer scattered spreadsheets, and better information for accountants, business partners, and government reporting.
About the founder
KuyaPH is built by Gino Sand and shaped by real bookkeeping situations from Philippine business life.
It was not created from an imaginary dashboard or a generic accounting template. It came from practical problems: tracking cash, preparing reports, explaining expenses, and helping small operators feel less dependent on fragile spreadsheets.
The goal is to make the paperwork side of business less lonely, less confusing, and easier to carry before deadlines become urgent.
Built for the details behind every report
Every financial statement starts with small daily transactions: who paid, who held the cash, what was bought, and where the receipt went.
KuyaPH helps turn those details into records you can understand, trust, and use.
